Thailand
Thailand is located on the western part Indochinese peninsula and the northern part of the Malay Peninsula in Southeast Asia. Throughout the centuries Thailand has suffered from a plethora of uprisings and schemes to overthrow their national government. In history, the Kingdom of Thailand has had military rule, a constitutional government, a democracy, and monarchies. The current government reverted back to a constitutional government in 2008. Recently however, there have been continued insurrections. The legal system of the Thailand government has become increasingly Westernized over the years as there is now a Senate and House of Representatives available to serve the citizens.
